Arranging
clips/tracks in a video editor
Files
or clips can be arranged and rearranged in OpenShot video editor. All
you need to do is drag and drop the files on the timeline.
First,
select the 'arrow' tool from the 'Edit Toolbar' and place it on the
file you wish to move.
Move
the file with the help of the mouse and place it wherever you want in
the track. By moving files, you can change their sequence of
appearance in the video being created. You are free to move it
anywhere on the track as per your need.
A
new 'Track' can also be added to the timeline if need arises. For
that, click on the “+” button given in the 'Edit Toolbar'.
Tracks
can be added or deleted in another way. Place the cursor on the
existing track (in this case, 'Track 2') and click on the right
button of the mouse. The following window appears with the option to
'Add Track Above,' 'Add Track Below,' 'Remove Track' and so on.
Tracks can be added, moved or deleted from here.
