Clean, Run and Step tools

Method 1: From the menu bar

1. 'Clean', 'Run' and 'Step' tools can be accessed from the menu bar. Go to Turtle>Select the tool.

 

Method 2: From the icons in the tool bar

Erase tool

1. For using 'Clean' tool in TurtleBlocks, click on the icon given at the right hand corner of the screen.

 

2. When you click on the Erase icon, the output produced by the Turtle gets erased.

Notice that when the cursor is placed on the Erase icon, the top left corner of the window gives the description of the tool. Similarly, when the cursor is placed on the other tool icons, their description appears at the top of the window.

Run and Step tool

1. The 'Run' tool is used for quick viewing of the output in which the commands that go into creating it are not highlighted. The icon with the 'hare' depicts the 'run' tool.

 

2. On the other hand, the 'Step' tool shows the recap of the output by highlighting each step in the command block. The 'turtle' icon next to the 'hare' depicts the 'step' tool.
