Safety measures for accessing e-mails

1. Never click on an attachment you don’t know, since they may contain a virus.
2. Make use of strong and secure Passwords.
3. Change your password regularly.
4. Make use of latest and updated Anti-Virus Software.
5. Never reply or unsubscribe to spam emails
6. Do not provide sensitive information.
7. Remember to logout.
8. Use automatic reply only when needed.
9. Avoid unsecured networks.
10. Make use of BCC option when sending mail  to multiple recipients.
11. Always use Spam Filter Software.
12. Be careful while using Public Wifi mode.
13. Avoid sending personal information through e-Mails.
14. Avoid filling forms that come via e-Mail asking for your personal information.
    And do not click on links that come via e-Mail.
15. Use RTF (Rich Text Format) instead of standard .doc format. 
    Do not send messages with attachments that contain executable code like 
    Word documents with macros, .EXE files and ZIPPED files. This may prevent
    you from sending virus to others if the files are infected.
