Recording video using mobile and digital camera

Video can be recorded using various devices like mobile, video camera, handycam, webcam etc. The simplest device to use in a classroom for recording video is mobile phone and video camera.
Recording video through mobile
1. Click camera icon from applications in the mobile.

2. There are two mode in the camera application. They are photo still camera mode and Video camera mode.

3. Tap/ click the Video button.
 
4. When the video opens up, click on the start button to start recording the video.

5. When the video is getting recorded, the recording time will be shown on the mobile. There will be two buttons, one for pause and another to stop recording.

6. After recording over tap or click the same button once again to stop recording. It will save in the default region where the recorded videos stored. 
7. Transfer the video to the personal computer.

Recording video using Camera
Most modern digital cameras make it possible to record videos by changing modes. As most cameras work in a very similar way it is actually fairly easy to record a video. Every digital camera may have its own way for recording video. So it is better to go through the manual of that camera. I case, there is no manual check for the manual in the web. Here is a list of general steps most of the digital camera follows:
1. Switch on the camera.
2. Change the camera mode into video. This can be done in various depending on the interface of the digital camera. Any one of the following ways may be followed:
If the camera has a turning wheel to select the mode, then turn to the video mode
If the camera as touch screen facility, then tab the video mode button
If the camera does not have any of the above said option, then go to settings in the menu and select video mode
3. Once you have changed the options, start recording by clicking the record button. After completing the recording, once again press the recording button to stop recording. In some camera, you need to click the Video button on the touch screen to start and stop recording.
4. The video will saved in the memory card inserted in the camera or stored in the internal memory of the camera. Transfer it to computer through the cable connected with the computer.
Keep this in mind while recording a video:
1. Plan your shoot before start recording.
2. Shoot plenty of videos so that you can edit and get the best.
3. Use zoom in and out.
4. Get a closer shot to make it clear.
5. Hold the camera in appropriate angle.
6. Keep your camera steady while recording.
7. Record the sequences.
8. Avoid fast pans and snap zooms.
9. Use lights according to the need.
10. Record plenty of natural sound.
11. Never record a long time. Record it in clips so that it is easy for editing
