6) Isolating audio segments


Isolating audio segments

  1. Select the selection tool. Click and drag to select the audio segment you want to isolate.


  1. Press and hold the 'Ctrl' key and press 'D' to duplicate. As shown below, this creates a new track containing only that selected audio segment. The original track is unchanged.



  1. Now select the Time Shift Tool (as shown below) and drag the duplicated segment to the new position in the track where you wish to position.
