7) Moving audio segments

Moving audio segments

1. To move an audio segment from one place to another, first select it using the Selection tool.

Then hold 'Ctrl' key and press 'x' on the keyboard for cutting that audio segment.

2. Move the cursor to where you want to add the cut section, and click once.

3. Then to paste the audio clip

Note: These shortcuts are same in most of the applications:

Cut – Ctrl +X,

Copy – Ctrl + C

Paste - Ctrl +V.
