Saving the charts and tables as image

Spreadsheet is a good platform for storing data, performing analysis, visualising data etc. But when the inferences has to be presented along with the data table and chart, spreadsheet may not be a preferred on. In such cases these data and chart should be saved as images for the ease of sharing and to be used in other platforms.

Saving chart as image

1. Select the graph
2. Right click on the mouse and select ‘Export as Image’ from the list

3. This opens a window, in which you need to enter name of the file, select the location and also select the file format (Eg: image format - PNG)

4. Then click save and the chart gets saved as an image.

Saving data table as image
Saving or exporting the data table as image is a longer process in spreadsheet. So the best way is to take screenshot and save it as an image.
1. Open the worksheet and the keep the table on the screen.
2. Search for ‘Screenshot’ and click on it

3. A window opens up as shown below

4. As you need only the data table, choose ‘Select area to grab’ and click on ‘Take Screenshot’.
5. This turns the mouse pointer to a selector. Double click and by  holding the mouse drag and select the whole area of the table to be saved as an image and then release the mouse.
6. A window pops up and asks for filename and location. After entering these details, click on save. This saves the table as a image in png format.

In case you want to copy the label elsewhere, just select right click the mouse and copy (or press Ctrl+C). Then paste it wherever you wanted it to be copied.
