Text effect - Drop Shadow Effect
Open Gimp then go to the File menu > New . Give the required Name for the Template, and Size of the page.
Select the Text tool, and add text to the canvas. Make sure to choose from the Text tool options for your preferences of Font Font Size Text Colour , before starting.
Apply the chosen text from the text tool options of all your preferences and place it according to design.
Choose your preferred settings for the drop shadow including placement ,opacity, and colour.
Press Ok to create the drop shadow.
