9) Using green flag and stop sign

Using green flag and stop sign

We can use green flag and stop sign to play and stop our animation. This is explained in the following steps.

Start script using green flag

1. Click on “control” option in blocks palette.
2. Drag “When Green Flag clicked” to script area.

3. Add rest of your script to this block. Sample script is shown below:

4. To run the script click on green flag on the top right corner of the stage area.

5. The script start running when green flag is clicked.

Stop all script using red stop sign

Clicking on stop sign stops all scripts of all the sprites. You can also include stop sign in your script as shown below:

1. Prepare your script, a sample script is shown below:

2. Click on “Controls” option in blocks palette.

3. Drag and drop “stop all ”  control into your script. Sample is shown below:

4. Execute your script by pressing on green flag at top right corner of stage area.

5. Red button stops all the scripts.
