Creating a post in blog

In the previous session the students learned how to create a blog.
Now, in this session, students will learn to create a post in blog.
Follow the steps given below to create a post in a blog:
  1. Open the web browser and type www.blogger.com. in the address bar.



2. When the page is displayed, login into the respective account
 using email id and password.

3. Open your blog and click New Post button on top left.

4. The page to edit/create a blog will appear. Write the name of
 the post. Then type the text in the workspace provided.

5. If image has to be inserted, click on Insert Image icon on the toolbar.
  The Add Images dialog box appears.

6. Various options to add images are displayed -
  • Upload
  • From this blog
  • From the Google album archive
  • From your phone
  • From your webcam
  • From a URL
Click on the desired option (depending upon where the image
to be inserted is stored).
For example, if the file to be inserted is saved on your computer,
click Upload and then click on Choose Files button.

From the Open dialog box that appears, browse for the image file
and then click Open button. The file will be inserted in the blog post.

7. Similarly hyperlinks can also be inserted in your post. To do that,
  select the text/image/video on which hyperlink has to be created.
 The Edit Link dialog box will appear.

Specify the target web address and click OK button.
The link will be inserted.
7. To insert a video, click on Insert a Video button and  browse
 for the desired video file in the Add a Video pop up.

8. After the post is created with all the desired elements, click on
  Preview button to view the post in the browser window. To save it,
  click on Save button.
The post will be viewed by the viewers around the world only after
 it is published. Click on Publish button to do so.
