To express one’s thoughts, one can post online on social media or write in a diary.

Blogging is actually a new interactive face of expressing one's thoughts and getting
connected with various people on same platform. Blogging has become more refined
into a carefully crafted format. Here, people tell stories, conduct in-depth analyses, 
and interact with others. Blogging gives students a platform to share their thoughts
with audience who can also read and respond to them. This social interaction motivates
 students to blog so that they can not only receive responses, it also forces them to think
 about what they’re saying.

How to Start Your Own Blog

• Sign up for free or login to your account.
• Pick a Blog template.
• Open the Blog Manager and create a new post.
• Create categories and organize your posts.
• Publish your post.
• Publish your site and connect your own domain name.
• Share your blog on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin or Email.

Here, we will create blog using Blogger which is a blog publishing service that
allows multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. A user can have up to 100 blogs
per account. This could be accessed through Google account. Steps involved in blog
creation are as follows-

Step 1: Login to Google account/ Gmail account.

• In the web browser type “www.google.com” and press enter key.
  
  Sign in to the google account, using a username and a password.
  
  

1. Type in password for that email address in the space provided click on next
   button or press Enter from the keyboard.
   
   
2. Go to 9 dots box( App Grid) at the upper left corner. Click on the 9 dots box
   and the drop down will appear.

• From the drop down click on blogger the one shown below.
  
  
• This page gets open by clicking the blogger icon.
  
  
  Click on New Post in order to write a blog, give appropriate Title,
   select theme and click on create blog.
  
  
  Click on ‘Create a new post’. This will open the window to write blog.
  

• This is similar to wordpad, you can write text, add pictures, add audio
   & video clips etc.
  

•   Write the content in the space provided and enrich it by adding images,
  audio and video clips.
  
  
  
  

• Follow the given steps to add images.

          1. Click on insert image, choose file and insert the image.

          

2. Image is added, click on save button to save the content and now
 click on “ publish” button in order to publish. This content is now 
published and could be shared through email.
