Sharpening an image
Step:1
open an existing image is the menu.
Use File → Open to open the Open Image dialog

Activate the filter by clicking on the menu
Filters → Enhance → Sharpen.

Check the Preview option , parameter setting option is displayed in preview. Scroll bars allow you to move around the image.

The slider and input boxes allow you to set sharpness (1-99) and you can judge result in preview. By increasing sharpness, you may increase image blemishes.
Sharpening the part of the image using Blur/Sharpen tool icon in the Toolbox

From the image-menu: Tools → Paint tools → Blur/Sharpen.
The Tool can also be called by clicking the tool icon in the Toolbox.

Select ‘Sharpen’ in the Tool Box Option in the Tool Box.

You can choose amount of Sharpness choosing Rate slider.
The Rate slider sets the strength or amount of the Blur/Sharpen effect. After choosing go on clicking on the part of the image where you like to sharpen.Sharpen mode increases contrast inside the brushstroke area. Too much Sharpen ends in an ugly flocculation aspect.
Step:5
Duplicate the image and Sharpen hat part of the image and observe the difference between the original and duplicate.
