Saving
Web Addresses in a Text Editor
Sometimes
the contents of a web page might be required even after browsing the
net. In such circumstances, a webpage can be viewed as well as saved
for further reference at any point of time. This can be done using a
text editor. A text editor is just like a notebook page where you can
type text and save it. Follow the steps given below to save the web
address in a text editor:
Step
1:
Open the web browser and type the URL,   www.epathshala.nic.in
website in the address bar. The home page of the website opens as
shown in the fig below:

Right click on the URL in the address bar.

From the drop down list, click on 'Select
all'
option. The web address gets selected.

Right click and select Copy option from the drop down menu. The
address will be copied.
Step
5: Click
on Text Editor icon on the desktop to open the text editor.

If
the Text editor icon is not visible on the desktop, click on the
Search tool and type Text Editor in the Search Bar. Then press Enter
key. The Text Editor icon will appear on the desktop. Double click on
this icon to open the text editor.
